Aims & Scope
The Journal of Microbiology and Yeast Research (JMYR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing fundamental and applied research in microbiology, with a particular emphasis on yeast biology and human pathogenic microorganisms. The journal aims to provide a high-quality platform for the dissemination of innovative research addressing the biology, pathogenicity, diagnosis, and control of microorganisms affecting human health.
The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, mini-reviews, and short communications that contribute to the understanding of microbial systems, especially yeast and other clinically relevant microorganisms. Interdisciplinary studies integrating microbiology with biotechnology, medicine, molecular biology, and environmental sciences are strongly encouraged.
Special emphasis is placed on studies related to human pathogens, including emerging and opportunistic infections, antimicrobial resistance, and novel therapeutic strategies.
